HOW TO GET AROUND THIS SITE

New York Music Daily is actually very easy to get around. Here’s how.

To see the most recent ten daily writeups, click here for the front page and then scroll down for the whole thing.

To see the most recently updated monthly NYC Live Music Calendar, click here.

To see articles in chronological order, go to the front page and then at the very bottom of that page, hit the “previous posts” button which will give you the next one, in reverse chronological order. You can also browse by month at the archives, dating all the way back to when this blog was founded in August, 2011. The archives also go in reverse chronological order: it’s just the way things work around here.

New York Music Daily doesn’t have a search function per se, but you can improvise one using either tags or Google to find pretty much anything ever covered here. To use tags, type https://newyorkmusicdaily.wordpress.com/tag/[words-separated-by-hyphens] into your browser – i.e if you’re searching for free downloads, type https://newyorkmusicdaily.wordpress.com/tag/free-download which will give you all posts which include them.

If you’re googling, paste “New York Music Daily” + “[keywords you’re searching for]” into Google, i.e. “New York Music Daily” + “country music” which will give you search results using those actual keywords rather than tags. Everything here is comprehensively tagged by topic and also by type of post (album review, concert review, free download, obituary, etc.) to help you find what you’re looking for.

For the “about” page, click here.

For the index of every artist who’s received full-length coverage here, click here.

If you’re a musician or publicist, here’s an attempt to discourage you from seeking coverage here unless you’re really, really, really good, or at least really, really, really original.
